Keen, the maker of hybrid footwear, launched the Circadia, which delivers the core features of the brand’s Targhee hiking boot at a more accessible price point. The Circadia includes Keen.Fusion technology, a simplified pattern design and computer stitching.

Consciously created features include:

  • LWG-certified leather,
  • PFAS-free water repellency,
  • cement-free midsole/outsole fusion, and
  • pesticide-free Eco Anti-Odor.

Circadia is waterproof and vented. Designed for colder adventures, the Circadia Mid Polar will be available in September 2022.

“With recession predictions increasing, more people are discovering that you don’t need a lot to hike. A pair of trusty hiking boots, a trail, and, maybe, a sandwich. The Circadia makes hiking more accessible by making the most important features of our 17-year-old, fan-favorite hiking boot available to more people.,” said Steve McCallion, SVP of marketing and creative at Keen. “By rethinking how we make our boots, we delivered the features our fans love—our famous comfort fit, built-to-keep fabrication, and consciously created manufacturing—at a more accessible price.”

The Circadia Waterproof Boot and Shoe use Keen’s environmentally preferred leather upper and the Keen.Dry waterproof, breathable membrane inside (and PFAS-free water repellency outside), keep feet dry. Keen LuftCore technology embeds a lightweight foam core in the midsole to absorb shock. The higher-traction rubber outsole with multi-directional lugs secures footing on varying terrain. Available in men’s and women’s sizing

The Circadia Mid Polar is insulated with 200g of Keen.Warm insulation and a Keen.Dry waterproof, breathable membrane, keeping feet dry in temperatures down to -25°F (-32°C). A Leather Working Group-certified leather upper and Keen LuftCore round out the features.
