The USA Triathlon Board of Directors announced the re-election of three of its members to officer seats — Jacqueline McCook as president, Joel Rosinbum as vice president and Kevin Haas as treasurer — and the election of Keri Serota as secretary.

Report: Nike’s Vaporfly Won’t Face Ban

The World Athletics organization, which governs most international track and field events, will not be imposing a blanket ban on Nike’s Vaporfly running shoes, according to a report in the Guardian. But the international governing body is expected to announce “a temporary suspension of any new shoe technology until after the Tokyo Olympics.”

The 67th PGA Merchandise Show came to a close January, 24 in Orlando, as it welcomed nearly 40,000 golf industry professionals from all 50 U.S. states and 80 countries. More than 1,000 golf companies and brands exhibited, including more than 250 companies new to the show.

Scheels To Open Location At Missoula, MT

Scheels All Sports will open a store at Southgate Mall located in Missoula, representing its third store in Montana. The new location will occupy approximately 110,000 square feet of renovated space and is expected to open in the second half of 2021,

PSEB Group Announces CEO Transition

PSEB Group, an operating company composed of Pacific Sunwear of California and Eddie Bauer, announced that Mike Egeck will be stepping down as CEO, effective February 4, 2020, to pursue a new opportunity outside of the apparel industry and be geographically closer to his family. PSEB director Jim Gulmi will serve as nterim CEO.
