‘Container Dwell Fee’ At West Coast Ports Remains On Hold Until December 6

The Port of Los Angeles and the Port of Long Beach announced a further postponement of the “Container Dwell Fee.” After meetings today with U.S. Port Envoy John Porcari, ocean liner companies and marine terminal operators, the two ports said the fee would not be considered before December 6.

Arc’teryx Opens Third Store In Quebec  

Arc’teryx is continuing its retail expansion in Canada with a new location in Laval. The store marks the 14th Arc’teryx retail location to open in the Canadian market.

RV Retailer Acquires Three Stores In California 

RV Retailer, LLC announced the acquisitions of Holland RV Center with three stores in Southern California and Folsom Lake RV in Northern California. This expands RVR’s presence in California to six stores and total store count to 81. 

PXG Opens Store In Chicago

PXG, the golf club maker, opened its tenth store in the United States. PXG Oak Brook is its second location in the Chicago area and a key part of the company’s initiative to open 24 stores by the end of 2022.

Golf Rounds Played Slip In October

According to Golf Datatech, golf rounds played were down 1.8 percent in October but are still ahead 7.4 percent year-to-date.

Adobe: Black Friday Online Spending Sees Slight Decline

Total online spending on Black Friday was $8.9 billion, down from sales of $9 billion in 2020, according to Adobe Analytics. Results came in at the low end of Adobe’s predicted range. Thanksgiving Day coming in flat year-over-year at $5.1 billion.
