Tifosi Optics hired six sales representatives to target run-specific retailers. Some of the new reps include Kyle Bezanson (Northern California), Bill Foley and Matt Bearce (New England) of Bill Foley & Associates, and Jeff Gruendike (New York, Western Pennsylvania) and Don Hillary (Michigan) of Athletic Marketing Group. Tifosi Optics sees the run market as an opportunity to expand their full range of performance eyewear, including interchangeable, polarized, and Fototec™ photochromic models.

“The run dealers we currently sell to have had tremendous success with the brand, so we felt the next logical step was to hire quality sales professionals to help service our expanding dealer base,” says co-founder Elizabeth Earley.

Not only will Tifosi Optics be reaching out to run retailers in the coming years, but they also plan to target running consumers in run-specific media in 2010 and beyond.  “We want to support our growth with run retailers by increasing product awareness among runners,” says Megan Powell, the new Creative Director at Tifosi. “Driving sales to retailers is our number-one priority.”
