February Retail Sales Come In Weaker Than Expected

U.S. retail sales unexpectedly fell in February.  The drop could partly reflect delays in processing tax refunds in the middle of the month as well as cold and wet weather but the report heightened concerns that the U.S. economy is slowing. On the positive side, January sales were revised upward.
