Garmin Ltd. announced it was the victim of a cyberattack that encrypted some of its systems on July 23, 2020. Affected systems are being restored and Garmin said it expects to return to normal operation over the next few days.

Neiman Marcus To Close Four Department Store Locations

Neiman Marcus, which filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection on May 7, said it is permanently closing its Hudson Yards location in Manhattan, along with two stores in Florida — Fort Lauderdale and Palm Beach — and in Bellevue, WA. The retailer also plans to close 17 Last Call outlets.

Skechers On Path To Recovery, Led By China

Skechers Inc. reported a significant loss in the second quarter as store closures due to COVID-19 fed a sharp sales decline. However, both the loss and sales levels were better than analysts expected. Skechers officials also noted that China has returned to growth, and domestic comps were only down single digits in June.
