Zumiez Inc. announced that total net sales for the
five-week period ended July 6, 2013 increased 14.5 percent to $58.8 million,
compared to $51.3 million for the five-week period ended June 30, 2012.
The company's comparable store sales increased 1.0 percent for the five-week
period ended July 6, 2013 compared to a comparable store sales increase
of 8.2 percent for the five-week period ended June 30, 2012.
Zumiez
is retailer of action sports related
apparel, footwear, equipment and accessories, focusing on skateboarding,
snowboarding, surfing, motocross and BMX for young men and women. As of
July 6, it had 522 stores.
