Sportsman's Warehouse has moved into a new distribution center to support continued company growth. The new center, located at 1630 South 5070 West in Salt Lake City, offers 507,000 square feet of warehouse space compared to the previous center's 227,000 square foot capacity. The move effectively more than doubles space available to the growing company.

The additional space is essential, as over the past three years Sportsman's Warehouse has increased its number of retail outlets from 26 to 46 stores, and has added a thriving online shopping experience as well.

“We are very proud of the business model we have in place,” said John Schaefer, Sportsman's Warehouse chief executive officer. “We have added 20 new stores with still more on the way, all without leveraging our payables and maintaining exceptional relationships with our suppliers. The new distribution center is yet another step forward as we continue to grow in a very healthy way.”

“The larger Distribution Center will help us serve our growing store base, including the ten stores recently acquired in the Northwest,” noted Sportsman's Warehouse Chief Operations Officer Chris Utgaard. “Additionally, the space will give us the ability to grow our business with future planned expansion.”
