Tyler Mycoskie, one of the founders of Toms Shoes, has launched MyGolfClub.com, a membership-based platform that gives golfers direct access to premium equipment at discounted pricing, with the goal of eliminating retail markups and opening the game to new players.
“Golf should be accessible. Period,” Mycoskie said in a media release. “For too long, the price of quality equipment has been a barrier. MyGolfClub.com is here to change that. No more inflated prices, no middlemen, just a smarter, fairer way to buy golf gear.”
The site provides clubs, balls, apparel, launch monitors, and other gear for an annual fee. Membership includes an equipment trade-in program, access to the Dollar Driver Club —a membership-based golf club testing and purchasing platform previously founded by Mycoskie — in-house customer service, and free shipping with no minimum order.
