Vargo Outdoors recently celebrated the Grand Opening of its new retail location in Lewisburg, PA at 2370 Old Turnpike Rd along the Buffalo Valley Rail Trail.
After serving the Lewisburg area for nearly four years in the downtown location, the store expanded to a new 3,400-square-foot facility so it could broaden its product and service offerings.
“Bicycle and Kayak rental services, boxed lunches, soft-serve frozen yogurt, fresh-brewed coffee and expanded outdoor gear and apparel selections are among the many features of our new store,” said owner Brian Vargo. “We are very excited about our new location and offerings and look forward to serving all of our loyal customers and everyone that comes to enjoy the Rail Trail or hike the mountains of Pennsylvania.”
Vargo has been selling online since 2002 when he converted a site dedicated to the Appalachian Trail to an e-commerce store. He opened his first brick-and-mortar store in Lewisburg in 2008. Vargo also manufactures and distributes his own line of titanium camping accessories, including stoves, mugs and pots.
