Clarus’ Revenues Jump 144 Percent In Q2

Clarus Corp. significantly raised its 2021 guidance after reporting sales more than doubled in the second quarter. Black Diamond sales were up 122 percent and Sierra sales were up 190 percent, or 71 percent excluding Barnes. 

Camber Names Co-CEO

The Board of Directors of Camber announced that it has named Renita E. Smith as co-CEO. She joins Emily Newman at the helm of the membership-based organization.

Newell’s Outdoor & Recreation Segment Delivers 28 Percent Growth In Q2

Newell Brands Inc. reported its Outdoor & Recreation segment generated net sales of $453 million in the second quarter compared with $353 million in the prior year period, a gain of 28.3 percent. The improvement reflects core sales growth of 25.0 percent and the impact of favorable foreign exchange. Net sales exceeded the 2019 level.

VF Corp. Lifts Outlook On Q1 Beat

VF Corp. raised its earnings and sales guidance for its fiscal year after reporting results in the first quarter ended June 30 easily topped Wall Street targets. Overall sales in the quarter grew 96 percent in constant dollars. Among major brands, sales grew 102 percent at Vans, 83 percent at The North Face, 63 percent at Timberland and 58 percent at Dickies.
