Planned to coincide with the On-Snow Demo/Ski-Ride Fest following the 2015 SIA Snow Show (Jan. 29-Feb. 1), the Nordic Demo will bring together Nordic community members from across the globe to share ideas while kicking and gliding on the trails of Copper Mountain Resort.

Were excited to head back to Copper, especially with all the snowfall thats been happening lately, Im confident well have great conditions for creating a course prefect for testing Nordic products, commented Reese Brown, SIA Nordic Director.

The two-day Nordic Demo, located in Coppers East Village, will feature manufacturers 2015/2016 technology for skate skiing, classic cross country, touring and snowshoeing. The Demos custom built 5K Nordic trail system will incorporate short test loops and varied terrain-perfect for testing, product comparisons or just enjoying the view. Current Nordic Demo exhibitors currently include Alpina, Atomic, Fischer, Madshus, One Way, Rossignol, Salomon, SWIX.

The terrain was great for testing, a few hills, some flats.  It was really great to be able to compare so much equipment side-by-side, said Adam Jonson, Pioneer Mountaineering.

Nordic Demo attendees will also enjoy hosted breakfasts, lunches and several educational seminars presenting great ideas and takeaways that retailers can implement back at their shops. The first seminar will be offered on Monday, February 2 at 8:30AM, entitled The State of the Nordic Market and presented by SIAs Director of Research Kelly Davis.  The seminar will give retailers an understanding of current market trends to help grow their business. We love the venue. The loops are more than enough for testing and the rolling terrain is perfect.  It is nice to have some diversity, commented Bob Wade, Ute Mountaineer.
