Shimano’s subsidiary in Singapore is investing approximately $36 million to build a factory in the Philippines to better serve the emerging market.
Shimano Pilippines Inc. will operate a factory on a 25,000-square-meter lot in an industrial park in Tanauan City, Batangas. Construction is expected to be completed in July 2014 and operations are expected to begin December 2014.
