Saucony released its Stopwatch apparel collection, made from 100 percent recycled polyester, featuring wicking and drying technologies. An assortment of performance running tops includes a singlet, short and long sleeve styles and a graphic short sleeve option, all with reflective logos for low-light conditions.

“The refreshed Stopwatch Collection is leagues ahead of the previous version regarding performance, sustainability and aesthetics,” said Sarah Clark, A&A product director, Saucony. “To move from 70 percent to 100 percent recycled polyester, we increased the fabric’s recycled water bottle content to the max over the prior Stopwatch line. Our new fabric is also the highest performing from a wicking and drying perspective within our apparel range, which means you’ll stay comfortable and look good while making a better choice for the planet. Additionally, we aimed to ensure the product’s fit is exactly what the runner needs, expanding the sizing and creating plus-size options.”

Features of the collection include:

  • Reflective logo marks;
  • 122g/m2 100 percent recycled polyester;
  • In third party testing, the collection outperformed the previous version by decreasing the dry time by 34 percent; and
  • In third-party testing, the collection outperformed the previous version for directional wicking by 55 percent (warp) and 9 percent (weft).

The collection is available in men’s sizes S-3XL and women’s XXS-XXL. For more product information, go here.
