Quiksilver, Inc. has named Heidi Ueberroth to its Board of Directors. Ms. Ueberroth currently serves as the President, Global Marketing Partnerships and International Business Operations for the National Basketball Association. She is responsible for directing the league's business initiatives globally and oversees relationships with the leagues expanding list of marketing partners. Prior to this position, she served six years as the company's Executive Vice President of Global Media Properties and Marketing Partnerships. Ms. Ueberroth joined the NBA in 1994 and has led the global television and media distribution division since 1996. NBA game programming is televised by 164 networks in 215 countries in 43 languages.

Ms. Ueberroth is also a board member of The Advertising Council and a trustee of The Cancer Research Institute. She served on the advisory board for the 1999 Women's World Cup and has been a Director of the Ueberroth Family Charitable Foundation since its formation in 1990.
