PrimaLoft reported adding four styles to its Active Evolve line of insulating fabrics it first introduced in 2018.

Combining the lightweight warmth of insulation with the fabric’s breathability, Primaloft’s Active Evolve “performs in a wide range of activities, regardless of intensity or season,” allowing “brands to use less overall material when designing a garment, reducing footprint and waste.”

Primaloft noted the advantages for designers working with Primaloft Active Evolve as follows:

  1. It enables them to utilize the full spectrum of color, incorporate unique patterns and provide greater flexibility in fabric selection;
  2. Active Evolve eliminates the need for quilting in the design process; and
  3. Products within the Active Evolve line are made from up to 100 percent post-consumer recycled content, including three of Primaloft’s four new styles.

“This product series was designed to evolve with you,” stated Tara Maurer-Mackay, senior vice president of product strategy at PrimaLoft. “PrimaLoft Active Evolve’s breathability provides a thermoregulating system that maintains comfort and elevates performance year-round for any activity.”

Primaloft also reported that brand partners using its Active Evolve line include Sitka, Löffler, CP Company, Eddie Bauer, Endura, Martini Sportswear, OMM, Quiksilver and Ziener.
