Lowa Boots expanded its ambassador team with the addition of hiker Alexandra Garcia. 

Garcia works with the Appalachian Trail Conservancy as its Latinx partnerships coordinator and is a founding board member of the AWE Summit Scholarship Foundation. She is also an adventure fundraising alumni for The Cairn Project. Garcia’s most notable hikes include:

  • Mount Whitney summit, hiker’s route single day, 2021
  • Mount Rainier summit via Paradise Gulch and the Cowlitz Glacier, 2021
  • “5 in 5”: climbing 5 Colorado Fourteeners in five days, 2020
  • Section speed hike of Appalachian Trail through Shenandoah National Park, VA solo/multi-day, 109 miles in 59 hours, 2020
  • “6 in 6”: climbing six Colorado Fourteeners in 6 days, 2019
  • Presidential Traverse, NH solo/day hike, 2019
  • Grand Canyon Rim to Rim, Ariz. solo/day hike, 2018
