Lorpen has hired R. S. Sports Limited as its sales agency for the British Columbia and Yukon territories.
R.S. Sports Limited, headed by Radek Sedivy and based in British Columbia, is a manufacturers representative firm that has been serving the outdoor, ski, snowboard and footwear industry for more than 20 years. In addition to Lorpen, the firm currently works with The North Face.
We have been watching Lorpen for many years and the timing is just right-we were looking to bring on a new sock manufacturer, and Lorpen had the territory open, said Radek. Lorpen is the perfect addition for our sales team because they create high quality socks that we can stand behind (an in!) and we think they will be well-received by our customers in BC and the Yukon.
Canadian sales are crucial to the growth of the Lorpen brand, said Bruce Barrows, Lorpens North American Sales Manager. While the company has strong roots in Spain, Lorpen North America is based in Toronto. With the addition of this experienced sales agency, we will continue to expand distribution in Canada.
Founded in 1985, Lorpen is based in Etxalar, Spain, located at the base of the Pyrenees and has been selling performance socks in the U.S. since 2004 and Canada since 2001.
