Under Armour, Inc will introduce its first line of inflatable basketballs and footballs with licensee PSI 91, Inc. The new Under Armour footballs will be available this month and the basketballs will hit stores in November.

Under Armour’s inflatable collection will feature a variety of official sizes for both high school and collegiate play. The Under Armour football features proprietary Horween leather with UA GRIPSKIN technology and ARMOUR GRABTACK laces, which gives athletes a 107 percent increase in grip compared to standard laces.

Under Armour basketballs are said to be the first to combine player-preferred high, natural pebble texture and a deep channel design for better control while shooting and passing.

“Under Armour is excited to enter a new category, offering the innovation our Brand is known for in a unique way,” said Edward Giard, Under Armour vice president, licensing and accessories. “Partnering with our new licensee, PSI 91, has allowed us to deliver best-in-class products that continue Under Armour’s mission to make all athletes better.”

Both the Under Armour footballs and basketballs will be available at select U.S. retailers and online at www.underarmour.com.
