Kora, the manufacturer of technical apparel with natural fibers, including yak wool, merino and bamboo, expanded its bamboo apparel range with an activewear capsule collection including everyday tops, leggings and pants for men and women.

Since its founding, Kora has manufactured its own fabrics that make up its garments. The company introduced its Bamboo line in June 2023 with technical fit baselayers. The recently launched Bamboo activewear capsule expands the range with new styles prioritizing comfort and versatility with natural cooling, breathability and sweat-wicking properties found in bamboo that also offers stretch for unrestricted movement.

The Bamboo activewear capsule includes more relaxed fit pieces to be worn alone or layered, including tank tops, a midweight zip hoodie, a crewneck sweatshirt, track pants, and leggings. The eco-friendly fabric uses Forest Stewardship Council (FCS)-certified Bamboo as the foundation, adding spandex for stretch and comfort.

Kora’s Bamboo Collection features two midweight fabrics (220 gsm and 270 gsm), both soft, durable, breathable and naturally wick sweat, providing a second skin feel that moves with the body. Bamboo is a non-itch, plant-based alternative to wool for those with sensitive skin.

With FSC certification, Kora ensures that the bamboo used in the production of the Bamboo collection comes from responsibly managed plantations, promoting forest conservation and the well-being of local communities. The bamboo layers undergo rigorous testing to confirm the UPF-50 properties, offering enhanced sun protection.
