Globe International Limited reported that its Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary, Jessica Moelands, had tendered her resignation on December 31, 2023.

Moelands began her employment with Globe almost 20 years ago, serving, more recently, as CFO and secretary. Globe said she is departing when the company is in a “strong financial position, with key foundations laid to support the future growth trajectory of the business.”

“We wish to thank Jess for her support and dedication to Globe,” said company CEO Matt Hill. “During her nearly 20-year tenure as CFO, she has been instrumental in enabling Globe to grow its brand portfolio across the Australian, the United States and European markets and has played a pivotal role in harmonising and streamlining the financial operations.”

“I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my time at Globe, where I’ve been fortunate to work with and learn from an amazing group of people,” Moelands said. “I am proud of what we’ve achieved over the last 19 years through some major challenges and awesome opportunities. While my decision to move on is made with a heavy heart, the time is right for me to look for a new challenge. For now, my focus is on managing an effective transition at Globe.”

“On a personal level, I have immensely enjoyed working with Jess,” Hill concluded. “We have worked through a massive evolution of the business over the years, and Jess’s contributions to the company in those times and support for her workmates and team have been exemplary. She will be missed by all. On behalf of the Globe Board and executive team, we sincerely wish her the best in her future endeavours.”

Globe has started a recruitment search. Moelands is assisting and supporting the process for an orderly transition.
