The National Shooting Sports Foundation announces
that the Georgia Department of Economic Development will commit $225,000 in
support of the NSSF Industry Summit and also toward sponsorship messages on the
NSSF.org website.
In addition, the sponsorship agreement provided the Georgia Department of
Economic Development with opportunities at the NSSF-owned Shooting, Hunting and
Outdoor Trade Show (SHOT Show) last January to promote economic advantages for
businesses that move to the state.
“We are very pleased to have forged this unprecedented sponsorship
agreement between NSSF and the Georgia Department of Economic
Development,” said NSSF Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer
Chris Dolnack. “We believe this package will be an effective vehicle for
the State of Georgia in reaching its goal of building mutually beneficial
relationships with industry manufacturers.”
In June 2014 at the NSSF Industry Summit, which brings together thought leaders
from industry and the hunting, target shooting and conservation communities,
the Georgia Department of Economic Development will make a presentation and
have a major presence at the venue in Springfield, Mass.
The Georgia Department of Economic Development's promotional sponsorship
messages on NSSF's website, www.nssf.org,
will remind visitors to the site of the state's commitment to hunting and the
shooting sports and to its unwavering support of firearms-related businesses.
