Fox Racing, the manufacturer of motorcycle and mountain bike safety equipment and apparel, has added another MIPS-equipped helmet to its line, the Mainframe, and is offering the helmet with competition-level features.

The Mainframe is designed with MIPS’s impact protection system that reduces rotational forces when in a crash by absorbing and redirecting energies and forces otherwise transmitted to the brain. The helmet also uses optimized venting with channeled, in-molded EPS for cooling on long rides and extended coverage in the rear for safety. Other features include a removable, washable and moisture-wicking liner.

The Mainframe is available in three adult sizes (S-L) and a youth size with the same features as an adult helmet. The helmet received a 5-Star safety rating from Virginia Tech.
