Canada Goose’s Q2 Revenues Climb 27.7 Percent

Canada Goose reported earnings rose 24.5 percent in the second quarter ended September 29 as sales grew 27.7 percent. Both earnings and sales topped Wall Street’s targets. The outerwear maker maintained its guidance for the year.

Vista Outdoor Names Executive Officers

Brad Crandell was named Chief Human Resources Officer. Mark Kowalski was named Vista Outdoor’s Controller and Chief Accounting Officer. Dylan Ramsey was named vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary. Kelly Reisdorf was named vice president, chief communications and investor relations officer. Crandell, Kowalski, Ramsey and Reisdorf all previously served in senior roles at Vista Outdoor.

Dorel Sports’ Q3 Revenues Expands 14 Percent

Dorel Industries Inc. reported third quarter revenue at Dorel Sports increased 14.2 percent, to $250.3 million. The gains were driven by revenue growth across all three divisions, driven by strong performances at the Cycling Sports Group (CSG).

Camping World Posts Q3 Loss After Store-Closing Charges

Camping World Inc. posted a steep loss in the third quarter due to its decision to strategically shift away from locations where the company does not have the ability or where it is not feasible to sell and/or service RVs. The company said it will close 28 of the 37 remaining Gander Outdoors doors that have not been converted into RV dealerships, as well as two of the seven outdoor lifestyle locations operated by TheHouse.com
