Alpacka Raft, the maker of packrafts, announced the appointment of Emily Ledergerber as director of marketing.

Leveraging her extensive outdoor experience, brand strategy and marketing experience, Emily will be responsible for leading Alpacka Raft’s marketing efforts headed into it’s 20th year of operation. Emily brings nearly 15 years of marketing expertise, a wide range of skills, and adventure experience to the fast-growing packrafting scene at a time when Alpacka Raft looks to explore new opportunities in the Hunt and Fishing space.

“Emily is a seasoned bow hunter and outdoor enthusiast with proven expertise envisioning and executing marketing strategies for core brands in the outdoor industry,” said Alpacka Raft CEO Thor Tingey. “Emily’s demonstrated talent for shepherding breakthrough creative will be tremendously important as we strive to help more individuals access the inaccessible.”

Emily’s prior experience includes marketing several respected outdoor and consumer brands, such as Patagonia and Weber Grills, and has helped to improve brand strategy, and new product initiatives for numerous national and global companies. She is also a proud ambassador of Artemis Sportswomen and advocates for protecting public lands and waters, as well as the future of women’s sporting traditions.
