Mark Plaatjes, a co-founder of Boulder Running Co., has left the company following the chain's sale last year to Running Specialty Group. Product line manager Henry Guzman has also left the retailer, according to a report from the Daily Camera.
The report said Plaatjes decided not to renew his contract on June 1 due to differences in his “vision” and the new owners. This includes a move to shift much of the staff to part-time status. Guzman was told in June that his position was being eliminated following RSG's move to centralize buying.
