Columbia Sportswear Builds On Momentum With Strong Q2

Columbia Sportswear Co. on Thursday reported record revenue of $526.2 million for the second quarter ended June 30, a 9 percent increase (11 percent in constant currency) from the same period a year ago and beating Wall Street’s estimates by $19 million. Earnings per diluted share increased 143 percent to a record 34 cents, compared to second quarter 2018 earnings per diluted share of 14 cents and crushing estimates by 33 cents.
