Arc’teryx reported it opened a Pinnacle Store occupying 6,600 square feet at 149 5th Avenue in New York City’s Flatiron district—the company’s 26th retail store location and the largest in North America.

In addition to selling the brand’s primary product line, the store will also carry its Veilance and System_A collections.

“The new Flatiron Pinnacle store opening marks an exciting new chapter for Arc’teryx’s retail journey,” said Delaney Schweitzer, chief commercial officer, Arc’teryx. “2022 saw ten Arc’teryx store openings, renovations and relocations across North America. Next year, we’re looking to expand our direct-to-consumer footprint further with 15 new store openings.”

The company’s “strategic choice” to open a brand store in the Flatiron district represents the brand’s commitment to design, craftsmanship and desire to be “embedded in the city’s design community.”

“Arc’teryx has always had an unwavering commitment to design perfection,” said Katie Becker, chief creative officer, “and strives to deliver product that is authentic, beautiful, functional, and responsible. We use design to question the status quo and to create products of genuine value that deliver in the most extreme conditions. Our presence in Flatiron aligns with the area’s rich design heritage, creating a space to share design insights and inspiration with a like-minded community. We will use this space to glean insights and hear the needs of the community directly. We’re looking forward to connecting and co-creating with the community, sharing design inspiration, and growing ever deeper creative roots in New York.”
