Yamaha U.S. Marine Business Unit has renamed Kracor, a Yamaha Marine Systems Company, Inc. (YMSC) division, to Yamaha Marine Rotational Molders and is officially doing business under the new name.
The company named John G. Augustiniak as the general manager of Yamaha Marine Rotational Molders. He is responsible for overseeing the manufacturing and operational business strategy, which includes sales, marketing and logistics of the company’s rotationally molded plastic products for recreational marine and other industries.
“Augustiniak’s leadership will undoubtedly drive innovation and strengthen Yamaha’s commitment to quality,” said Ben Speciale, president of Yamaha U.S. Marine Business Unit. “His significant expertise and leadership will enhance manufacturing capabilities, which are invaluable assets as Yamaha Marine Rotational Molders continues to grow within the industry.”
Augustiniak joined YMSC dba Yamaha Marine Rotational Molders in September of 2024 with over 30 years of operational leadership. Most recently, he was the operations manager for Amazon’s Texas and Wisconsin facilities, leading customer fulfillment and distribution. He has extensive experience in printing, packaging, industrial films, and extrusion operations, driving business process improvements.
Augustiniak reports to Bill Boehman, the president of Yamaha Marine Systems Company, Inc., and Yamaha Jet Boat Manufacturing U.S.A., Inc.
For over 50 years, Yamaha Marine Rotational Molders, formerly Kracor, Inc., has manufactured rotationally molded plastic products for national and international markets with parts for the recreational marine, industrial, agricultural, waste, lawn and garden, medical, and others. In 2017, Yamaha Motor Corporation, U.S.A. acquired Yamaha Motor Corp., U.S.A., and became part of Yamaha Marine Systems Company, Inc., a Yamaha Motor Corporation, U.S.A subsidiary.
Yamaha’s U.S. Marine Business Unit, based in Kennesaw, GA, is responsible for the sales, marketing and distribution of Yamaha Marine products in the U.S., including Yamaha Outboards, Yamaha WaveRunners, Yamaha Boats, G3 Boats, and Skeeter Boats.
