Yakima named two new distributors, The Hawley Company, a bicycle parts and accessories distributor in Lexington, SC and Liberty Mountain, an outdoor distributor of over 600 brands of gear and accessories based in Salt Lake City, Utah. These new distributors complement the existing relationships with Yakimas current distributor partners, Hans Johnsen of Texas and Quality Bicycle Parts of Minnesota, providing excellent regional coverage and shortening overall delivery times.

Yakima said adding these new partners is a specific example of Yakimas overarching strategy to make their organization more customer-centric and easier to do business with. Furthermore, the introduction of these distributors falls in line with a number of improvements Yakima has made over the last 18 months, for the benefit of dealers, including opening a west coast distribution center and the launch of a B2B ordering system.
