Vasque Footwear, a family-owned company with more than 50 years of experience in the outdoor footwear sector, has named industry veteran Peter McConkie as its new national sales manager.

Beginning in November, McConkie will head up leadership of the domestic sales team, providing the highest level of sales support and direction. He will drive domestic wholesale business in existing channels and develop new channels of distribution to help engage all outdoor users.
Joel Lee, Vasque’s global sales manager said, “Peter is an avid outdoor enthusiast, who is bringing many years of sales and brand strategy experience to our team with a solid reputation of sharing our core values. His connections with dealers is invaluable and we’re thrilled to have him on our team.”
With 20 years of sales experience at Liberty Mountain, from representative all the way to sales director level, McConkie has a strong understanding of a brand’s market potential and what it takes to grow within those markets.

Based in Holliday, UT, with his wife and four children, McConkie enjoys getting outdoors, backpacking, camping, biking and climbing.
