Varsity Spirit reported it entered the beauty space with a line of skincare, haircare, cosmetics and fragrances designed for spirit athletes that it claims are for use during high-impact activities and are long-wearing, sweat and transfer-proof.
“Varsity Spirit plays an integral role in the lives of cheerleaders and dancers, and we’re constantly looking for ways to enhance our support of these athletes so they can continue to perform at the highest levels,” said Nicole Lauchaire, EVP of marketing, communications and media at Varsity Spirit. “We recognized that one area we could elevate our support was with athletes’ beauty routines. This comprehensive product line is complete with makeup, skincare and haircare that work as hard as these athletes do.”
Varsity Spirit created the products in partnership with Batallure Beauty, a beauty and fragrance development company, and will sell them in Varsity Spirit’s online store and select championship events.
