FGL Sports Sees 5.1 Percent Q4 Comp Gain

Canadian Tire reported same-store sales at its FGL Sports segment grew 5.1 percent in the fourth quarter. Comps at Sport Chek climbed 4.9 percent.

Cabela’s Q4 Profits Slide

Cabela’s Inc., which has reached an agreement to merge with Bass Pro, reported earnings 26.3 percent in its fourth quarter ended December 31 as sales fell 4.9 percent. U.S. comparable-store sales decreased 6.4 percent.
