Thor Industries, Inc. announced that Wilson Jones, a member of its Board of Directors, is retiring effective December 15, following nine years of service.

Jones spent much of his professional career working for Oshkosh Corporation, a designer, manufacturer and marketer of specialty vehicles and vehicle bodies. He joined Oshkosh in 2005 and held senior leadership positions in the Fire and Emergency and Access Equipment segments before being named president and chief executive officer in January 2016. Jones retired as CEO and board member of Oshkosh Corporation in April 2021.

Jones joined Thor Industries Board of Directors in 2014. Most recently, he served as Chairman of the company’s Compensation & Development Committee and member of its Environmental, Social, Governance & Nomination Committee.

Thor’s Board of Directors has engaged a search firm to retain Jones’ replacement and expects to conclude the process during the first calendar quarter of 2024.
