UK-based 10 Over Surf Shop is celebrating the grand opening of its concept store in Lantegue Studios in Cornwall, a peninsula to the southwest of Wales in the United Kingdom.
Chris Thomson, the owner of 10 Over Surf Shop Shop, shared insights into the concept behind the space.
“We envisioned a versatile community hub catering to surfers and beach lovers alike. Our living space is available for bookings by local groups, with complimentary usage for non-profit organizations or a small donation to The Wave Project for commercial bookings.”
Following a successful 18 months of establishing a robust online presence, 10 Over Surf Shop said it is “excited to bring its unique blend of Californian surf culture to the heart of Cornwall.”
At 10 Over Surf Shop, customers will find a curated selection of surfing products and apparel from Rip Curl, Katin, Lightning Bolt, Captain Fin Co, and Vissla. The retailer said it “aims to cater to the diverse needs of surfers and ocean lovers” in the new store.
The recent soft opening over Easter reportedly “witnessed a steady stream of visitors from across the southwest eager to explore the new space and its offerings.”
In addition to its retail presence, 10 Over Surf Shop also produces Longboarder Magazine, with Volume II scheduled for release next month.
