Tenacity Adventure Fitness has built a state-of-the-art climbing and bouldering room. Located within 20 minutes of popular Tennessee climbing destinations Foster Falls and Denny Cove, the climbing area at Tenacity was built as an option for climbers in the area on rainy or cold days.
Located in Tracy City, TN, he rock climbing room at Tenacity costs only $5 per climber per day. Climbers should bring their own shoes and chalk, although some of the problems can be climbed without either.
According to Tenacity Owner Micah Sparacio, “From the beginning, the purpose of Tenacity has been to bring opportunities and fun activities you’d expect to find in the city to rural Grundy County, TN. This climbing wall is an extension of that vision and also an attempt to provide a service to the climbing and outdoor adventure community.”
To celebrate the launch of the climbing wall, Tenacity will be hosting a Climbing Club for a fun time of bouldering and new route setting on the 3rd Saturday of each month from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. New climbers are encouraged to join in and learn new climbing techniques.
In addition to being within 15 minutes of Foster Falls, Tenacity Adventure Fitness of Tracy City is less than 2 minutes from The Fiery Gizzard Trail head and five minutes from the Grundy Lakes area. With the addition of the Monteagle to Tracy City section of the Mountain Goat Trail, lots of hiking spots, waterfalls, caves and swimming holes, the area is quickly becoming a destination for outdoor adventure enthusiasts.
