Sterling Rope Company, Inc. has signed Perpetual Motion NW, led by David Egan, as the independent rep agency for the Pacific Northwest region, effective September 1.
Egan has been an independent rep for more than 25 years, including working as a rep for Sterling over 15 years ago. Egan has worked with brands such as Wild Country, Metolius, Salewa, Black Diamond and others. Egan and his wife Tracy own the rep agency Perpetual Motion NW.
“We’re excited to have David and the team from Perpetual Motion NW partner with Sterling,” said Sam Morton, sales director at Sterling. “They bring a high level of technical expertise along with a strong dedication to customer service, which is really important to us. They’ll be a great asset and will help us support our dealers, climbing gyms and to also educate climbers on the Sterling brand.”
“I’m thrilled to be back with Sterling. After over fifteen years, I’m impressed with the growth and maturity in the brand,” said Egan. “Sterling has not stopped or slowed down the charge in continuing to improve the quality and performance of their products.”
Perpetual Motion NW is based out of Fall City, WA and will service Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana and Alaska dealers for Sterling. Its team of five includes territory reps and in-house Key Account/Dealer Services Support.
