Speedo USA and Sports Authority launched a new Speedo Aquatic Zone “shop-within-a-shop” retail concept at four Sports Authority locations in Florida and California.

The four new 500+ sq. ft. premium Speedo Aquatic Zones at Sports Authority, located in the Miami and Boca Raton, FL and Balboa and Sherman Oaks, CA stores, feature Speedo’s cutting-edge swimsuits, goggles, accessories, training aids and footwear in a visually intuitive branded environment. The Zones are merchandised with a range of Speedo men’s, women’s and kids’ gear designed to highlight the 2014 fitness, performance and active recreation collections.
 
 
In a true retail first for Speedo, the Speedo Aquatic Zones are part of an expanded partnership with Sports Authority, which also unveiled an updated Speedo footprint in an additional 218 stores, marking the next step in Speedo and Sports Authority’s shared commitment to providing the best products and services to the ever-growing swim fitness community.

The custom retail fixtures and graphics within the Speedo Aquatic Zones are designed to be consumer-friendly. The new retail layout enables shoppers to explore and shop Speedo products by activity, including aquatic training, fitness, recreation and other water-related interests, with a mix of in-line, end-cap, four-way and wall unit displays. Dive accessories, the Learn to Swim kids water safety line, and new styles from the revamped 2014 footwear and packs collections will also be featured. The graphics and merchandising will highlight Speedo’S key technologies and its 86-year history of innovation, and will help guide visitors in finding the Speedo gear that best meets their needs.
