Sport Obermeyer promoted Nathan Dopp to Vice President of Sales and added Alan Stewart as their new Director of Production. Dopp joined Sport Obermeyer in August, 2005. Formerly with Spyder Active Sports, Dopp brings nine years of experience in the snow sports industry to Sport Obermeyer.
According to Klaus Obermeyer, President and CEO of Sport Obermeyer, “His new responsibilities will be a tremendous asset to the strong, energetic and enthusiastic management team as Sport Obermeyer continues to grow the brand.”
Dopp is a graduate of the University of Colorado with degrees in Environmental Science and Political Science.
“Its very inspiring for me to be part of the management of a company that has been thriving for over 59 years and to use my experience to continue that growth,” states Dopp.
In additon, Sport Obermeyer added Alan Stewart as their new Director of Production. Stewart is from Vancouver, WA and brings more than 17 years in the apparel industry serving as a consultant providing production sourcing for the technical outdoor clothing industry. He also has spent 11 years as Director of Global Sourcing and Production for Columbia Sportswear.
