Rab is opening a new Colorado-based office and warehouse. Matt Gowar, Rab’s CEO, now owns the company, which enters its third season on the North American market during the winter of 2009-10.
“The success within the N.A. market demanded the investment in a U.S.-based sales, marketing and distribution headquarters located in Louisville, Colorado” said Gowar. “The 3,000-square-foot space includes offices, a full showroom and warehouse. Most orders are already being shipped from this facility and are backed by Rab’s European central warehouse.”
“Rab is a brand committed to our retailers, customers, and reps in North America,” said Gowar. “Not only have we committed the resources and personnel to this market, but we are also developing new strategies for success.”
Gowar has moved over with his family from the United Kingdom to set up Rab’s N.A. headquarters. He also founded of Equip Outdoor Technologies in 1993, the parent company of Rab.
In addition to the new North American headquarters, Gowar announces new employees as well. The new Rab team members include: Karen Moldenhauer, Customer Service Rep (Central U.S.); Scott Curtis, Customer Service Rep (Coastal U.S.), and Jason Kamen Warehouse Supervisor.
