Orage opened its first flagship store in Montreal.

Launching as an experience rather than a traditional brick-and-mortar shop, the new space, called Le Chalet, mixes boutique and showroom together to tell the Orage story. With an approach focused on engagement, customers are welcome to meet with brand artisans to learn about Orage and connect with the product in a genuine environment. Product orders are placed on iPads for delivery right to the customer’s home, allowing Orage to minimize its footprint and better manage inventory while focusing solely on creating meaningful relationships.

Orage leveraged its strong creative sense to design Le Chalet, a 1,000 square-foot space that’s authentic in its reflection of modern mountain culture. The interior features crisp whites and warm woods with soaring ceilings and plenty of natural light spilling in through large windows.

Le Chalet offers those passionate about the outdoors a curated selection of Orage’s pinnacle three-season products. On display will be the 2015-16 range for men, women and kids, which includes the Ski and Transition collections of jackets, pants and layering items, along with lifestyle clothing and accessories.

In conjunction with the opening of Le Chalet, Orage is unveiling its Original Journey campaign to embody the brand, its following of skiers and its product range through the Winter 15-16 season. Novel experiences through the unexpected are what colourful memories are made of, and this philosophy is at the core of Orage’s brand values. Whether it’s the epic or the everyday, the idea of the Original Journey initiative is to inspire people to carve their distinct path on life’s adventure.

Orage makes three-season outerwear, casual wear, layering and accessories.
