Nike opened a new retail store in the heart of San Francisco at 2071 Union Street to serve athletes throughout the community. At the 2,000-square-foot boutique, consumers will find the best Nike has to offer, including the pinnacle expression of Women’s running, training and sportswear product, services and programming, as well as a selection of running, training and sportswear product for men.

Nike Union Street services include head-to-toe styling, bra-fitting, pant-hemming, run analysis, access to NIKEiD, weekly Nike+ Run Clubs, and Nike Training Club classes with partner gyms and locations in the surrounding neighborhoods.

“Nike Union Street will provide a premium experience for female athletes through a unique blend of pinnacle product, premium services and deep programming,” said Dennis van Oossanen, Vice President of Nike North America Direct to Consumer.

Beginning June 2, Nike Union Street will offer the following ongoing group training experiences:

  •     Girls’ Night In Workout on the first Friday of every month at 6 p.m.

The design of Nike Union Street embraces local connections. The store features a custom-made piece by local artist Jenny Odell. The composed digital collage features satellite images of some of San Francisco's most beloved running and training locations and parks. The piece is balanced with a mural of the city's iconic skyline that runs the length of the store.

Nike Union Street is also partnering with BAWSI (Bay Area Women’s Sports Initiative) as a part of Nike's commitment to Designed to Move. Research shows that active kids do better in school, and in life. BAWSI is committed to leading and inspiring elementary-aged girls and youth with special needs to be active with the help of collegiate and high school female athletes who serve as mentors in the community. Through the partnership with BAWSI, Nike Union Street store athletes plan to volunteer their time and energy to help get local girls moving through positive experiences in sport and play.

Nike’s long-standing commitment to women in San Francisco began more than a decade ago with the inception of the Nike Women’s Marathon series and has continued with the ongoing offering of women’s products and services at Nike San Francisco. Nike Union Street will deepen the company’s commitment to female athletes and serve as a training hub for runners.
