Junk Food Clothing has entered into an apparel licensing agreement with the National Football League to create a retro-inspired lifestyle collection. The Junk Food NFL Lifestyle Collection will make its debut at better boutique, specialty store and department stores in Holiday 2008.  The collection will also debut on NFLShop.com, fan shops and at NFL stadiums stores in October.

“This is a perfect partnership”, says Blaine Halvorson, co-founder and president of Junk Food Clothing.  “We have put an incredible amount of focus on creating a collection that demonstrates our unique ability to blend vintage inspired apparel with classic NFL imagery.”
Los Angeles-based Junk Food Clothing, which was acquired by Delta Apparel in 2005 for the equivalent of about $30 million with earn outs, has enamored both celebrities and teens with its original art work and soft, weathered look.

“With an ever changing market, we are confident that this licensing arrangement will reflect the nostalgia for the game of football in a new way and will take our apparel to an entirely new audience,” said Susan Rothman, NFL’s vice president of consumer products.
