Judd Feingold of Up East Sales is now part of the Suunto Sales team. Feingolds territory includes Massachusetts, Connecticut, Vermont, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Maine.
Feingold has been in the New England territory for 7 years and brings plenty of outdoor sales experience to Suunto. He also works with Suuntos sister company Salomon as well as a handful of other vendors.
Feingold started in January. “Its been great start. Every running store I spoke with is interested in carrying Suunto,” said Feingold, “There has been a great reception and its seems to be wide open for Suunto to grow in the training market.”
Feingold will report directly to Susan Dinesen, Suunto North Americas National Sales Manager. Dinesen said the partnership was a natural one for both Suunto and Feingold, “Judd has established himself well in the Northeast. Hes got a great group and a successful business there. When we met with him we knew it was a great fit right away.”
Current Northeast sales rep Bill Porter has helped bring Feingold up to speed on all of Suuntos wristop computers. “Bill really gave me a crash course at Outdoor Retailer and I left full of information,” said Feingold, “it was a tremendous help to have him give me a deeper understanding of what all the Suunto wristops can do.” Porter is not leaving Suunto, but is transitioning to focus on New York City and more high-end jewelry stores while Feingold will concentrate efforts on pushing the training line.
