Nautilus, Inc. plans to relocate its Louisville, Colo.-based product development facility to the company headquarters in Vancouver, Wash. In addition, the company plans to move its Apparel Division from leased facilities in Broomfield, Colo., into the now vacated Louisville building the company owns.

The move will add 40-50 positions at the Nautilus, Inc. headquarters in Vancouver, where the company currently employs 550. Virtually all Louisville employees will be extended relocation offers, with the transition expected to be complete by March 2007.

“This transition will further enhance cross-functional partnerships between product development, marketing and industrial design groups,” said Tim Hawkins, president of the Fitness Equipment Business for Nautilus, Inc. “Having this group together will help to streamline processes, improve team efforts, and enhance communication.”

Hawkins said the company's 90-person Apparel Division will relocate from leased space in Broomfield to the Louisville facility owned by Nautilus, Inc.

Nautilus has had a presence in Colorado since acquiring the indoor exercise assets of Schwinn Fitness in 2001.
