Mission-ITECH Hockey has entered into a multi-year agreement with the National Hockey League Officials Association (NHLOA), which will see the company’s Mission brand helmets and ITECH brand visors being worn by NHL and American Hockey League (AHL) referees over the next several seasons. As a result of this partnership, ITECH visors become the “Official Visor” of the NHLOA and Mission helmets are positioned to become the “Official Helmet of the NHLOA.”

Randy Burns, VP of Marketing for MIH, commented, “We are a proud partner of the NHL and now have the added pleasure to extend this distinction to the NHLOA. Our partnership with the NHLOA and its members will allow us to continue to solidify our leadership position in the facial category and support our rapidly growing helmet business.  Mission ITECH Hockey continues to look for valued partners and the NHLOA clearly compliments our current agreements with the NHL (Official Visor and Goalie Mask of the NHL), the CHL (Exclusive Visor, Neck Protection and Goalie Mask), the CHA (Exclusive Facial Protection, Neck Protection and Goalie Mask) and USA Hockey (Official Helmet, Facial Protection and Goalie Mask).

Brian Murphy, President of the NHLOA, stated, “The 75 members of the NHLOA are honored to welcome Mission-ITECH as part of our team.  We believe we share similar values such as pride, dedication, and love for hockey, while exploring and using innovative measures to improve the quality of the game.”
