Merrell delved deeper into the trail running space
with the launch of five trail runners.
“Our SS|2019 collection brings an important milestone in Merrell innovation, uniting years of experience designing for the trail, foot-in-motion science, elite athlete experiences, and additional findings from the Merrell Test Lab. This collection delivers a range of options for all trail runners, including those just starting to discover the power of the trail.” — Shaun Bohnsack, Senior Product Director, Merrell.
The MTL Cirrus is a racing shoe created by and for the elite athlete with a passion for Skyrunning. Ultra-lightweight, the TrailProtect rock plate stabilizes a trail athlete footfall during rugged ascents and descents.
Created by studying the foot in motion, the Trail Glove 5 trainer is designed to enhance the foot’s natural ability to stabilize the body during rapid changes in movement. The TrailGlove franchise is a favorite among the barefoot run community since it launched in 2011.
Designed for women, the Antora trail runner with Q Form 2 Stability technology and Vibram outsole performs on moderate terrain. It is narrower in the heel, higher in the arch, and roomier in the toebox.
A men’s specific trail runner, the Nova is built for running on moderate trails with shock-absorbing foam cushioning and a TrailProtect rock plate for comfort on long runs over debris and obstacles.
The Momentous, f is designed for runs on moderate trails and the right choice if you want to feel connected and have a fast experience with debris and obstacles in your way.
