Mammut North America has hired Andrew D’Acquisto as sales director.

D'Acquisto has nearly 20 years of experience in outdoor industry sales. He is based out of Salt Lake City, UT, where he will remain centralized to both key accounts and the Outdoor Retailer trade show, D’Acquisto joins the Mammut North America team after serving as National Sales Manager at Chums/Beyond Coastal.

Previously, Drew drove sales strategy for over three years as the North American Sales Manager at Gregory Mountain Sports. His specialty retail experience includes years with Sports Basement and Any Mountain in the San Francisco Bay Area and with Durango Mountain Resort in Colorado.

“Drew brings a wealth of experience to his role as North American Sales Director,” said Bill Supple, CEO, Mammut Sports Group, North America. “As Mammut continues to see growth in the North American market, Drew’s background in sales strategy and inventory management will help bolster our force. Having worked in numerous facets of the outdoor industry, including positions as a wilderness guide, store manager, buyer, key accounts manager and North American Sales Manager, Drew has a unique understanding of the product life cycle from the manufacturer to the retailer and, ultimately, the end user. His outdoor passions include mountaineering, climbing, alpine and Nordic skiing, cycling and outdoor photography.
