Longworth Industries, the manufacturer and distributor of Polarmax and
Opedix technical base-layer apparel, added two new rep groups to ramp
up sales in the Eastern US and Great Lakes region. Robb Sport is
handling the SE and Wentz & Associates will take over the Great
Lakes region.

“These two groups of talented reps have the
relationships and experience to give the Longworth brands a great boost
in these key strategic areas for us,” said Roger Maxey, National Sales
Director for Longworth Industries. “Their proven track record of
opening doors and strategic planning gave us the confidence that they
can not only get the job done, but really take it to the next level.”

Handling
Polarmax and Opedix from Florida to Virginia, Robb Sport represents
some of the strongest brands in the industry including CamelBak,
EuroSock, Seirus, Timex, and Yakima. The Robb Sport team consists of
Rob Robinson, Elliott Hardin, Dan Williams, and Bill Kendall. “Polarmax
and Opedix help the retailers better manage their inventory dollars by
offering outstanding in season availability and margin. In addition to
being sewn our backyard here in North Carolina, they also give the
retailers the flexibility to run their business smarter and leaner. We
feel that is especially important in today’s environment,” said Rob
Robinson.

Wentz & Associates is comprised of team members
Rob and Sandra Wentz and Todd Hershey, who are handling Polarmax in
Ohio, Michigan and Indiana. Rob and his crew bring over two decades of
sales experience and Great Lakes living to the Polarmax brand.
“Polarmax helps round out the assortment that I can offer an account.
We’re also very excited to have another “Made in the USA” line to go
along with Wigwam. That’s been a big story for our territory.” said
Wentz, Principal and owner of the Wentz & Accosciates. In addition
to Polarmax and Wigwam socks, the Wentz group carries 180s, and Ouray
Sportswear.
