L.L. Bean plans to open stores in Dedham and Mansfield, Massachusetts, in 2007 and 2008 respectively. The stores will be approximately 30,000 square feet and each will employ 125 people year round. Both new shops will feature L.L. Bean’s new Outdoor Discovery Schools where instructors guide participants through a variety of introductory classes as part of their exclusive Walk-On Adventure program.
